Marine-grade clear PVC, set into the solid fabric panels. The clear sections keep the patio bright and the view open while the solid sections do the weather work.
Clear PVC ages under UV — that is true of every clear panel, ours included. When it does, the panels can be replaced rather than the whole blind: see repairs and recoveries. Marine grade is specified because it holds up longer than standard PVC.
Sometimes, depending on the blind and the fabric it is made from. It is a job to look at on site rather than answer over the phone — the free measure will tell you either way.
